How we work

Understand it. Plan for it. Engineer the risk out. Stand behind it.

The same four steps, in the same order, for every client. It is how we protect the hours your business runs on.

Step 1

Understand it.

Before we recommend anything, we learn how your business makes money and what each system is worth to it.

  • A Downtime Ledger: what an hour down costs you, in your numbers
  • A map of the systems that hour depends on
  • An audit of hardware, software, security, backup and vendors

Step 2

Plan for it.

No one can guarantee uptime on a system they haven't planned for. So the plan comes first.

  • A written continuity and disaster recovery plan
  • Or a written list of the gaps and what closing each one takes
  • Recovery order, owners, a communication tree and vendor contacts

Step 3

Engineer the risk out.

We secure, standardize and monitor the environment so fewer things break, and the things that do break are caught early.

  • A security baseline mapped to NIST CSF 2.0 and CIS Controls v8.1
  • Supported, licensed, business-grade systems
  • 24x7 monitoring, reviewed patching and daily backup verification

Step 4

Stand behind it.

You won't be a ticket in a queue. You'll have people who know your business.

  • A primary engineer who owns your account
  • A help desk that answers and fixes, with 24-hour coverage available
  • Regular business reviews on risk, continuity, spend and what is next

Questions we hear

Straight answers.

Can you guarantee uptime?
No one honestly can on a system they haven't planned for. We build the plan, engineer the risk out, and tell you in writing about the risks that remain.
What if we already have an IT person?
Good. We work alongside internal IT all the time, adding depth, 24-hour coverage if you need it, and a plan they do not have to build alone.
Are we too small for this?
If an hour of downtime costs you real money, you're not too small. If it doesn't, we'll tell you.
What happens when something breaks at 2 a.m.?
Monitoring and automated security remediation run around the clock on every plan; many alerts are handled in seconds. On 24-hour coverage the help desk answers and fixes at any hour, and brings in your primary engineer when it matters.
