How Circle Square collects, uses and protects information.
Last updated October 7, 2026
This policy explains what personal information Circle Square Consulting (“Circle Square”, “we”, “us”) collects through circlesquareconsulting.com, including the Signet pages, what we do with it, and the choices you have. We have written it to describe what this website actually does, in plain language.
The short version
- We collect what you type into our forms, and nothing else about you as a person.
- This website sets one cookie, for website visitor tracking that shows us which companies visit and which pages they read. It runs no advertising scripts.
- We use your information to reply to you, run the session you asked for, and send the newsletter you signed up for.
- We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for advertising.
- You can ask us to see, correct or delete your information at any time.
What this policy covers
This policy covers the website. Information we handle while providing managed IT, security or AI services to a client is governed by our agreement with that client, including the Master Services Agreement and the Services Guide, not by this policy.
What we collect
What you give us through a form. Each form asks only for what we need to respond:
- Contact form: your name, company, email address and message.
- Downtime Ledger booking: your name, company, role, email address, phone number and company size.
- Newsletter: your first name and email address.
- Signet session requests (for example the AI Readiness Check or the Renewal Dry Run): your name, email address, company, and optionally a phone number and a note.
- Signet assessments: your name, email address and organization size, your answers, and the score and gaps the assessment calculates from them.
- AI Policy Starter: your name and email address, and the answers you enter to build your draft (such as your organization’s name, the policy owner, the AI tools in use and the uses that need a decision). The draft itself is assembled in your browser.
- Blueprint Risk Review: your name, company, email address and phone number, whether you bank with ConnectOne Bank, your answers, and the Risk Snapshot and PDF report built from them. If you request a review, we also record which one.
What the website does not collect. The Downtime Ledger calculator and the Fit Finder run entirely in your browser. Nothing you type into them is sent to us or stored. Apart from the visitor tracking described below, the site sets no cookies and does not use advertising pixels, session recording or embedded content from social networks.
Website visitor tracking. We use Pipedrive’s Web Visitors feature, powered by Leadfeeder, to see which companies visit this site. A small script sets a first-party cookie that recognizes a returning browser and records the pages it views. Leadfeeder matches the IP address of a visit to the organization that owns it, such as an employer’s network, so we see company names and the pages they read, not who you are. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, the script does not run. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
Technical information. Like every website, the servers that deliver this site receive standard technical information with each request, such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested. This is used to deliver the site and to protect it from abuse, not to identify or profile you.
How we use it
- To reply to your message or request, and to schedule and run the session you booked.
- To prepare what we promised you, such as a Downtime Ledger report or an assessment result.
- To send the newsletter, if you subscribed. Every issue has an unsubscribe link.
- To keep the website and our forms secure, including filtering spam.
- To meet legal obligations.
We do not use your information to make automated decisions about you.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with service providers that host this website, process form submissions, keep our customer records, provide the visitor tracking described above and deliver email on our behalf. They may use it only to provide those services to us.
We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a merger or sale of our business, in which case this policy would continue to apply to it.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of both, which we already honor for everyone.
Text messaging. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
How long we keep it
We keep form submissions for as long as we need them for the purpose you gave them to us: to answer your inquiry, run your session, or maintain our relationship with you if you become a client. Newsletter details are kept until you unsubscribe. When we no longer need information, we delete it, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.
How we protect it
We protect personal information with the same practices we use for our clients: access limited to the people who need it, multi-factor authentication, encryption in transit, and monitored systems. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we take the responsibility seriously. That is the business we are in.
Your choices and rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you, and give you a copy;
- correct information that is wrong or incomplete;
- delete your information;
- stop sending you marketing email (or use the unsubscribe link in any issue).
Residents of some states, including New Jersey, have these rights under state law, along with the right to appeal our decision on a request. To make a request or an appeal, email [email protected] or call 866-303-7222. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request, and we will respond within 45 days. We will not treat you differently for making a request.
Children
This website is intended for businesses. It is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Links to other sites
Some pages link to other websites, such as sources cited in our articles. Those sites have their own privacy practices, and this policy does not cover them.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will say so on this page before it takes effect.
